Finding a good horse is not easy... After I always thought I could find the perfect partner I was taught better every time. Then I said to myself: "You want to hunt, so you need a hunting horse". And where to find better ones than on the green island? In February 2018 the adventure started and we flew to Ireland with four friends. Saturday in the afternoon I met my soul horse "Paddy". It was love at first sight! It didn't take me much time to realize he was just the right partner for me. And I was proven to be correct. He's been with me for four months now and he makes me smile every time. We have just had our first hunt, and it was wonderful! I'm looking forward to the season which starts in August here in Germany. Paddy brings everything I've been looking for together. Courage, strength, sensitivity and mutual trust which is growing stronger every day.

I was looking for a new hunting horse in 2017, After a long riding break after the accidental death of my former hunting horse and due to motherhood I needed a very safe horse to give me back my self-confidence. I was looking in Germany but I did not find a matching horse. We decided to visit Ireland for horse searching.
We tried all the horses that Conor had provided and Conor allowed us, if we wanted to, to try the horses on the next day during a hunt with the Premier Harriers in Tipperary.
That was a great experience for me. At the beginning I was very nervous, because I haven't been to a hunt for over 2 years and I was not really fit in the saddle. I was told that my horse Joey (only 5 years old and 6 month under the saddle) would bring me home safe.
It was an amazing experience, I have never ridden such a difficult hunt in my life (and I rode with the hounds in Germany for several years behind the Beagle Meute Münsterland). The double drains were awesome!!! The big one, which I called “The Devils Hole, frightened me! But my horse was fantastic and I gave him the reins and let do him his job like the guys told me.
After that fantastic hunting day I knew that Joey was the right horse for me. So on Monday morning we had a date with the Veterinarian at Conor's Yard for 4 horses!
The transport was organized by Conor for us. Only one week later all horses arrived healthy at the different stables in Königswinter, Soest and Hannover.
A few weeks ago we had our first hunt in Germany together and they all were perfect!

After retiring my reliable hunter after having a wonderful ten years of fun with him, I was faced with buying a new horse. I knew this time I wanted more of an all rounder. I called Conor to seek help and thankfully I did, otherwise the outcome could have been very different if I had been left to my own devices! We set off early one morning and spent the day relentlessly riding and looking at horses. Conor was brilliant that day and was able to see things that I would never have noticed. Finally late that evening, Conor called a friend of his and it was in her yard that I found the perfect match. He was the horse I had dreamed of owning since I was a child and had exceeded everything I had hoped for in a horse. After I had bought him Conor encouraged me to take him to a show and took on the task of preparing myself and Secret for the show. He had loads of patience and after plenty of encouragement we came third in our first show. I had my first season hunting on Secret and he was amazing. I cannot recommend Conor highly enough and to this day I know he's only a phonecall away if I need any advice. Our daughter loves horses, being around horses and, of course, riding them. Riding dressage and jumps, she needed an allround pony that would not only be capable of doing both but also be the best friend she sought. She also aspires to eventing or XC.
Buying Buster was an eye opener into how trading horses should be done! Conor insisted on seeing Josefin riding before he picked out any candidates. This was the first bit of the growing confidence we got to have in Conor.
We decided to travel to Ireland to try a number of ponies Conor had picked out and this must be the best decision we ever made.
After arriving to the warm hospitality of Conor and Caraíosa, we met a number of fine horses. It became apparent to us that Conor has a uniquely sensitive touch with horses and not only knows what makes them thrive but also with whom they will do it!
Josefin and Buster was a perfect match!
Perhaps needless to say, Buster has become a family member, loved by all of us. Buster was well mannered and trained from the beginning and he and Josefin are building a great relationship. They are now climbing the score boards and doing so while having true joy on the course and track.

We met Connor for the first time in the fall of 2015. We met at the Horse and Jockey Hotel and really had no idea what to expect. The meeting resulted in a friendship lasting today.
We came home with a pony for our daughter Stina and were so pleased with the deal and Conor's way of working that we have sent over several friends to let Conor look for both ponies and horses for them.
Conor is serious, sells only individuals he knows and has the history behind. I now understand why Conor looked insulted when I added "No kicking bucking rearing ..." about the pony we were looking for to our 8 year old daughter. Conor responded with big eyes. "It was a child pony you were looking for?"
Now I know that the definition of a good children's pony is that it manages a balloon in the halter a dog on its back and a jacket thrown in front of the feet.
Sparky who came home to Sweden after that trip is not only a super pony and good companion to a little girl but has also participated in showjumping, ponyracing, crosscountry/eventing, pony club games, swimming & bathing and is the kind of pony that still happy put up with everything.
With Conor's unbelievable network of contacts he has managed to find ponies for showjumping, eventing and ponyracing for our friends.
Conor prefers not to send your horse "mail order" but wants you to come and try the horse more than once before you decide. We tried our pony at two different riding centers, rode out alone and together, rode it in traffic and saw it loaded on the trailer and was groomed.
For Conor it is the match "right horse to the right person" that is the driving force and he puts great energy on following all his horses sold in their new lives.

Here you also find help with veterinary check that is good enough for even Swedish insurance, help with booking and shipping. If you want Conor will keep your horse from when you leave until it is shipped and make sure your horse is in good shape for the transport. Working with racehorses daily the choice of shipping company will also be serious.

The way a horsefinder as Conor works is he will continue to try find the horse you want so do not feel you have to make several reservations at different places. If the horse is not in the yard Connor will ring his friends and find it for you.
